I had worked myself down into a work depression through seven years, from 42 to 49. At 49 I began the ascent from this depression, what I later found out was called the Dark Night of the Soul. I was guided through this ascent primarily through dreams, but also other ways. I was instructed about when to sleep and when and what to eat, and much more. In this ascent I lost 50 pounds and did away with a candidiasis.
But this is about the rhythm of the day, why and when to sleep and something about sleeplessness in the Dark Night of the Soul.
I was told I should sleep between 10pm and 6am, and and I found out the best sleeping time was between 10pm and 2am (22 to 2 looks better 😊.)
I have thought much about why it was so, and I found that Ayurveda described some rules about the different periods and their meaning, but it actually didn’t explain why. But the other day I remembered that the etheric sun was diametrically opposed the physical sun, it went north when the physical sun went south, and the etheric sun must go up when the physical goes down, the physical shines on us by day and the etheric sun shines on us by night, and in that way sends energy down to us all around the clock.
So midnight is midday in the etheric world, where the ether energy is at its highest.
It also explains why it is easier to sleep between 9 and 10 pm than from 10 pm and forward, the etheric sun rays are much stronger after 10pm so the energy we receive is much more intense and makes it difficult to sleep.
And it explains why Its better to sleep at night.
Another thing is that certain beings use the darkness in the etheric world to gain access to our lone etheric body, some taking away the energy of the etheric body and others trying to get into the body, so we wake feeling weaker.
In connection with the Dark Night of the Soul, I was told that I shouldn’t eat or drink anything later than 6:45pm, a curious time, why not 7, but my best guess is that it depends on longitude and time zone, but I haven’t looked more into it. The reason was that the physical body should disturb the etheric body with activities in the digestive system.
I should sleep at 9:45pm and I woke at 5:45am sharp every morning. And it was independent of summertime, I woke curiously enough 5:45am before and after the shift.
Later in the process I slept from 10pm (9:45) to 2am, and was awake and contemplating the rest of the night. From 10pm to 2am the etheric sun is highest and strongest, filling the etheric body with energy, and from 2am to 6am the astral body work on the etheric body, using the rest of the etheric sun rays to work by.
