On Rudolf Steiner’s prediction of the Third World War and its Spiritual Background

World History in its Making

What we are seeing now is going to change the world for all time. Materialism in the West is on the decline and the Czarism of the East is likewise going to disappear, and this last is what the current war is about. Between the East and West, we have Europe, and it has been split between these two paradigms, but now it has begun its fight for the independence of these two world views. Steiner describes the three in this way:

“The religious impulses of the particular ethnic groups will contribute in their different ways to an understanding of this tripartite division of man.

• The East and the Russian people to the understanding of the spirit;
• The West to an understanding of the body;
• Central Europe to an understanding of the soul.

But all these impulses are interwoven of course.” ~From GA 185

In the following, I will look at Steiner’s prediction of a potential WW between the USA on one side and Russia and China on the other, and on USA’s first Pluto return and its connection with the prediction, and Steiner’s description of the background on the polarity between Russia and America, and between Czarism and the Soul of the Slavs. Steiner on Czarism versus the Russian folk soul:

“Czarism and Russianism have always been strangers to each other, they never had anything in common. Those who understand the Russian nature, especially its piety, must have found the attitude to the elimination of Czarism as something self-evident when the time was ripe.” See From Symptom to Reality in Modern History.

I made a horoscope for 2020 in March that year, seen from an astrological, esoteric, and karmic historic view, and it was maybe the most impressive horoscope in 2000 years, it was about the end of American materialism. I predicted that Trump would lose, but still try to keep the power, but would fail in the attempt. Three times before the same happened in Rome, France and Germany, but this time without success: Horoscope for 2020.

I looked into the many texts on the Return of Christ and the resistance the opposition would present us with, and my conclusion was that 2020 was the crucial year where we would show if we had understood our curriculum, and we had.

Greatest Potential for Violence

As a result of the return of Christ I began looking at the three major cultures where people have difficulties becoming free on their own, where the potential for violence is greatest, and that is Russia, China, and the Islamic world, so I expected that we would see confrontations in one way or the other in the coming sunspot (See Steiner on Sunspots) period, but in a lesser scale than in the previous periods, as the potential for evil is weaker now than in many many years.

I have followed how Russia and China have increased their military involvement in recent times, especially China has increased the pressure on neighboring countries, such as India Nepal, and especially Taiwan, just as they torment their minorities, such as the Tibetans whose monasteries and shrines they destroy.

The Return of Christ

We are living under the return of Christ, it’s not just something abstract, the spiritual world is full of light. See: Steiner’s description on what happens now.

The coronavirus created a gap between the etheric and physical body, making people more perceptible to the spiritual and less inclined to act out of the physical, less inclined to create karma. Steiner has described it with Goethe and in connection with the smallpox vaccine, and I have written about it in more groups and in my 2020 astrological prediction. Many spiritual people have experienced this separation. Materialists are less motivated to manifest their will in the physical world, golf may be more interesting than winning an election. It seems that the Russian soldiers are disillusioned, that they even disobey orders when ordered to shoot at villages with civilians. Many soldiers thought it was an exercise other was told the Ukrainians welcomed them with roses, but they were stopped by civilians who stood in front of their vehicles or they were shot at in combat.

The world has become magical, it may mean that war becomes near impossible in the future when all are permeated by the etheric, with Christ. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I think we are out for some surprises. I expected some miracles in Ukraine, but the reality has surpassed my expectations, and I think everyone’s expectations.

Steiner’s Predictions

I had started looking at the horoscope for 2022 as there seemed to be something relevant for the tensions at the Ukrainian border. Under this work I was made aware that Steiner had warned about a new world war between USA On one side and Russia and China on the other side if we hadn’t solved the problem of materialism (Ahrimanic) through the twentieth century.

If the west hadn’t incorporated the spiritual in its thinking, so we could meet the east through the spiritual, we would end in a world war again. 2020 was the test, if materialism had won we would have had Trump as commander in chief for the American military forces today.

One of the biggest problems is that people react against the ruling classes, and this will be the trigger for the rulers to start the war, following Steiner, but because the underlying evil has been weakened through the twentieth century there is no will for war, humanity had learned of their pain.

Steiner on the War

“The Second World War [Third, see *1 below] which will be fought between Asia and America — along with what is between them — is absolutely necessary to happen and the reasons for this will be economic. You must be hearing the calls of the lower classes for a world revolution — the only way to obscure and hide this idea of a world revolution would be to ignite the catastrophe of another World War. It just has no alternative.” ~The Course for Speakers to Promote the Idea of Threefolding CW 338. Lecture 12, Jan 2, 1921

The main opponent will be China, even though it looks like it is Russia now. China is building silos for atomic missiles all over the country, and they create artificial islands in the Chinese Sea on other countries’ territory, where they place their military, and they move into the Indian Ocean too. They prepare for war.

Steiner on China:

“The real opposition (Gegensatz) is not between America and Russia — it is only apparently so. The real clash will be between China and America. And the question is whether it will be fought in Europe or in the Pacific. Europe can only hope that this will happen in the Pacific area.” Koberwitz in June 1924 Rudolf Steiner – I can’t find the original.

Steiner’s goal was to spread the spiritual way of thinking out to all of humanity so the world became one, as it would hinder the devastating World War, and he succeeded, he coined the phrase New Age and this is shared between all of humanity, making it possible for all of humanity to speak in a shared language. The old tribe or national cultures are destroyed everywhere through materialism, most visible in Mao’s cultural war, in the USA have Hollywood and it’s entertainment industry done the same on world scale.

Steiner on the Background and How not to End in a Devastating War:

“Let there be no mistake about it — so long as the dealings of Europeans and Americans with Asia are confined to purely economic and industrial interests, so long will there be distrust in the hearts of Asiatics. People may talk as much as they like about disarmament, about the desirability of ending wars. …A great war will break out between the East and the West, in spite of all disarmament conferences, if the people of Asia cannot perceive something that flows over to them from the Spirit of the West.

Western spirituality can spread over to Asia and if it does, Asia will be able to trust it, because with their own inherent, though somewhat decadent spirituality, the Asiatic peoples will be able to understand what it means. The peace of the world depends upon this, not upon the conversations and discussions now going on among the leaders of outer civilisation. …

Everything depends upon insight into the Spirit that is lying hidden in European and American culture — the Spirit from which men flee, which for the sake of ease they would fain avoid, but which alone can set the feet of humanity on the path of ascent.

People like to put their heads in the sand, saying that things will improve of themselves. No, they will not. The hour of a great decision has struck. Either men will resolve to bring forth the spirituality of which I have spoken, or the decline of the West is inevitable. Hopes and fatalistic longings for things to right themselves are of no avail.

Once and forever, man has passed into the epoch when he must manipulate his powers out of his own freewill. In other words: it is for men themselves to decide for or against spirituality. If the decision is positive, progress will be possible; if not, the doom of the West is sealed and in the wake of dire catastrophes the further evolution of humanity will take a course undreamed of today. Evil is Cyclic – or like a Pendulum

Steiner told also how the sunspots visualized the strength of evil, and all wars started at the spikes, and ended in the valleys, no exceptions in the twentieth century! See Sunspots and evil activity

In the twentieth century the amount of evil was immensely high, causing WW1 and 2 and especially the Vietnam war, but from the Vietnam War and forward evil began to dwindle, so the will to kill is little today, and our attention on war is more focused today. Humanity transformed evil to wisdom and pain to love.

Evil is cyclic, it’s like flood and ebb, and now it’s flood, but the maximal possible watermark isn’t very high. The activity of evil has been increasing toward a local maximum since 2020, so something is brewing, but it will be weaker than it was at the top at the previous maxima.

On April 12th Jupiter meets Neptune

On April 12th Jupiter meets Neptune in their home in Pisces, and the last time that took place was in 1856 when the Crimea peace was signed. It was of course at the bottom of a sunspot as wars end in valleys, and as evil is increasing now it may dampen evil or there may come a temporary peace agreement.

Added May 27: after April 12 the world began helping Ukraine with heavy weapons, and the EU began talking about starting the process for Ukraine to become a member.

I think we are at the first spike now, wars typically start at the second spike, five to eight years into the period, but we will see.

The USA out of Childhood

The other important astrological transit this year is when Pluto becomes conjunct with Pluto in the birth horoscope for the USA, and Pluto describes the ages for countries where Saturn does for humans.

This is the first time, the USA is coming out of childhood. Pluto is leaving the darkness in 2023, and although a short trip backward, the air becomes lighter when it moves into Aquarius. The USA becomes a teenager, it’s time for a love affair, and leaving the materialistic childishness behind.

On the first return on February 20-21, the problem presents itself, the annexation of the eastern territories of Ukraine was the first physical step in defining the problem.

Around July 12, Pluto goes retrograde, and as Pluto is about transformation there may come outer problems that will force inner transformation, where China may become tired of awaiting its chance. The last return will be on December 27 with a kind of result.

World History – Putin versus Ukraine

What we witness is world history, and the Ukrainian fight will stand as the most important in modern history, and their president will earn monuments. They defend Central Europe as they have done before.

The Ukrainians come from Scandinavia, then fighting with Thor now with Michael as a symbol of freedom. It is very symbolic that both Vladimir and Volodymyr come from the old Scandinavian Valdamarr, today Valdemar in Danish, meaning the Ruler of the World. I am impressed by the Ukrainian and I can recognize the Viking inheritance, although the Danes have been more spoiled by fate. I am also impressed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a Russian-speaking Jew whose family lost members to Holocaust. I think this is also telling about the Ukrainian people, that their trust is not dependent on language or genes. He has risen from a comedian to be the perfect world leader, this is so surprising that it should make esotericists think!

The question is what Ruling tradition do we want, czarism or a Goethean tradition of Central Europe?

Taiwan in the Chinese Sea corresponds to Ukraine, and the countries around China lie between China and USA in the same way as Europe lies between Russia and USA!

The Slav Spiritual Stream versus Czarism

What we see now is a continuation of what happened many times before, that the Russian state has tried to bind the Slav Soul to the Russian state.

“The testament of Peter the Great appeared on the scene in 1813, or perhaps a little earlier, and was disseminated for good reason as though it stemmed from Peter the Great himself.

Peter the Great

This document is used to seize hold of a natural stream, such as the stream of the Slav soul, in order to guide and lead it by means of suggestion. Whither is it to be led? It is to be led into the orbit of Russianism in such a way that the ancient Slav stream should become, in a way, the bearer of the idea of a Russian state!

Because this is so, a clear distinction must be made between the spiritual Slav stream, the stream that exists as the bearer of the ancient Slav tradition, and that which strives to become an external vessel to encompass the whole of this Slav stream: Russianism. …

For Russianism wants to confine the Slav element within its own framework and use it as its tool. It wants to contain it within the confines of the testament of Peter the Great. …

Obviously, therefore, only those who understood the Slav element more deeply could understand what web was really being woven, and also that those who wanted to destroy the Slav element through Russianism had to work against more healthy endeavours.” From R. Russian Intelligentia and the Group Soul

Steiner says that the folk soul is revered by the Russian intelligentsia as something great and significant something they aspire toward, not understanding that they are holding the Russian people back in their development. Steiner from Preparing for the Sixth Epoch:

“What we call the group soul, out of which mankind has gradually emerged and in which the animal kingdom still lives, that is what is revered by the Russian intelligentsia as something great and significant among their people. They cannot rise to the thought that the community of the future must hover as a high ideal, an ideal that has yet to be realized.

Yes, but this life in the group soul does not in reality belong to the future at all, for it is the old form of group soul existence. If it continued it would be a Luciferic group soul, a form of life that has remained at an earlier stage, whereas the form of group soul life that is true and must be striven for, is what we try to find in spiritual science.

▪️What we should like to say to the East is this: It is our task to overcome entirely just what you are trying to preserve in an external form, namely, an old Luciferic-Ahrimanic form of community.

In a community of a Luciferic-Ahrimanic character there will be coercion of belief as rigid as that established by the Orthodox Catholic Church in Russia.

▪️Such community will not understand true freedom of thought; least of all will it be able to rise to the level where complete individuality is associated with a social life in which brotherhood prevails.”

This also explains the way they sacrifice their soldiers in war. It’s reminiscent of the Mongol horde, they send the soldiers against the enemy in endless numbers without any other strategy than spread fear and chaos and thereby tire the enemy. No other army in the world loses more soldiers than the Russian. They have in the short time of this war lost more soldiers than in their Afghanistan war, the war that crippled the USSR.

What the intelligentsia stands for is Czarism:

The Goethean Central Europe as a pendulum between East and West

Europe is in the center between the Egoism symbolized by the rulers of Russia and the Heartlessness of the materialistic system of America, swaying from side to side, split in two over many years.

What we have experienced in connection with Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is that Europe and even the world have shown compassion for the victim, usually, the world is separated into two equally large blocks. Humanity are now following an inner moral where they earlier followed an outer moral.

The Founding Fathers of the Central European Culture.

Rudolf Steiner in Central Europe between East and West:

“Our souls have to tend to that which was prepared in the Central European culture especially expressing that we are put pendulum-like between two powers permeating the world and that we must find the balance.

We have to realise that, on the one side, the world strives for ahrimanic hardening, strives to get solidified in the fire of the purely material; that it strives, on the other side, to ascend egotistically to an abstract spirituality. Following the one or other side would ruin the Central European human being.

Following only the science engaged in the external senses would persuade us to tear the roses from the cross and only to look at that which solidifies. We would gain a world view gradually which would completely deflect the human being from looking at the spiritual. It would allow to only looking at that which has solidified ahrimanically. …

Therefore, the cross wound around by roses was the symbol of Goethe who positioned himself in the spirituality of the Central European culture. It must be our symbol. …

It is expressed to us in our symbol, in the rose cross, what we want to take up more and more in our souls, in our feelings when we come together in a room dedicated to our attempts. Then we can be sure that the spirits who lead the earth development in good sense exist invisible among us; that our words, that all our thoughts and feelings, while we dedicate ourselves to the spiritual-scientific attempts that all this is really supported in such a room by the spiritual powers guiding our attempts.” GA 159

Europe becoming one again

The Origin of the Eastern and Western Poles

To develop an I without egotism Europe was placed between Egotism to the East and Heartless materialism to the West. Europe became a pendulum that moved between these extremes.

Today Europe is finding their Equilibrium and is beginning to stand on their own feet, and both Russia and USA is becoming free of their curses.

The East Pole — The Luciferic powers of the Mongols

“It was actually the descendants of the old Atlantean teachers who were now working from a place in Asia. A priest there had been educated to behold — to have a belated vision, as it were, of what the Atlanteans called the “Great Spirit,” and to receive his commands.

These the priest communicated to a young man of remarkable energy and strength who, by virtue of this authority, received the name “The Great Ruler of the Earth” from his community. This was Genghis Khan (c. 1158–1162 – August 18, 1227). The Great Spirit, through his follower and through that priest, gave to Genghis Khan the command to summon all the powers of Asia to spread the influence that would lead the fifth post-Atlantean age back into a luciferic form. …

The West Pole — The Ahrimanic Powers of Taotl

“Over against this, a corresponding heaviness had to come to man from the weight of the earth; this was provided through the discovery of the western world. America, with all that it holds, was discovered and thereby earth heaviness, the desire to remain on earth, was given to man.

Europe discovers America in 1492

The discovery of America and everything connected with it, and the way man carried his life into the many new places of the earth, all this, when seen in wider connections, shows itself as a counterbalancing force to the activity of Genghis Khan.

America had to be discovered so that man might be brought to grow closer to the earth, to grow more and more materialistic. Man needed weight and heaviness to counterbalance the spiritualization that was the aim of the descendants of the “Great Spirit.” …

While it is comparatively easy to see how the luciferic [Egoistic] influence worked on Genghis Khan — we have exact knowledge of the fact that a priest was initiated by the follower of the “Great Spirit” — it is much more difficult to say how the ahrimanic spirit worked. This is because the ahrimanic [materialistic] influence is dispersed and scattered. [Materialism is a system not individuals.] …

Study the reaction of Europe to the gradual discovery and opening up of America and you will see what temptations came from that direction. Taken all in all, it is a history of temptation woven in with a history that runs a normal course.” ~GA171

It is interesting that Vladimir and Volodymyr both are of Viking heritage, Valdamarr in old Scandinavian, Valdemar in modern Danish, meaning Ruler of the World. This is the choice, the egoism of Djengis Khan or the freedom of Michael.

East, West and the Double

Man consists of body, soul and spirit, but besides that there is a foreign element called the double, containing elemental beings we fight with through our life. The double is the animal part in us, what we developed through the old Moon, together with the added karma and trauma developed on earth. This double is like a nature power influenced from the earth depending on where the person lives. In America the double is influenced by Ahrimanic powers and in Asia by Luciferic powers.

From Rudolf Steiner’s “Individual Spirit Beings and the Undivided Foundation of the World”:

“The strange thing is that this subconscious that we carry within us is taken hold of by another being under all circumstances. This means that we are not only a fusion of body, soul, and spirit, carrying within us through the world our soul, which is independent of our body; shortly before birth another being takes possession of the subconscious portions of the human being. This being is there, this subconscious being that accompanies man the entire way between birth and death. Somewhat before birth it enters man and accompanies him.

One can also characterize this being as one that permeates man in those parts that do not come into his ordinary consciousness: it is a very intelligent being and possessed of a will that is akin to the forces of nature; in its will it is much more closely related to the forces of nature than is man. …

This earth, however, not only consists of skeleton but is a living organism, and this earth sends from its center to every point on the surface, to every territory, special forces. Picture for yourself the surface of the earth (see drawing):

Ahriman, the heartless, to the West, Lucifer, egotism, to the East.

Here is the Eastern region, there the Western region, to take it only on a large scale. The forces that are transmitted from the earth are something that belong to the life organism of the earth. Depending on whether a human being lives on this or that spot on earth, his soul, this immortal soul, does not come directly in contact with these forces but only indirectly — the immortal soul of man is relatively independent of earthly conditions. The soul is only artificially dependent upon earthly conditions, as was shown today. …

It is thus this “double,” which man bears within him, upon whom the geographic and other differentiations particularly exert their influences.”

World Horoscope for 2020

The setup for this year is a combination of the American revolution, the end of the great depression and the time where the slavery was about to end.

There are especially three planets who have a profound influence on the long term development, Pluto, Neptune and Uranus. Pluto goes retrograde in Capricorn and the last time Pluto was in Capricorn was at the American revolution. The States are born with Pluto in 27° Capricorn, and in two years this cycle is at its end, the old is dissolving and something new is about to start. Neptune goes retrograde in Pisces, and the last time Neptune was in Pisces was the time when the movement to end slavery took speed. Uranus goes retrograde in Taurus and the last time Uranus was in Taurus was at the end of the great depression.

Today everybody is a slave of the thoughts their culture has introduced them too, a materialism we think is inevitable, that the world has to look as it does. To get out of it we need to go through a depression-like condition before we wake from our conditioned life.

A long rendezvous between Saturn and Pluto

The virus was put in motion by Saturn (Father) meeting the inaugurator Pluto, causing the Coronavirus. It started in December but was at its strongest Jan 12 and the relations powers continue for years. Saturn goes into the free airy Aquarius Mar 21 to go retrograde May 11 in Aquarius. In Aquarius, there is a wish for freedom, and everything isn’t as heavy, but Saturn returns to the heavy Capricorn again July 1, and now things become serious.

Jupiter triple rendezvous with Pluto

The Jupiter (Son) is controlling our inner experience helped by Mars. Jupiter has a rendezvous with Pluto that is strongest Apr 12, but we have been under increasing influence before that, but here it becomes serious. They meet again June 30, and until then we are acclimatizing ourselves to the new state. At that time Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all retrograde, meaning that we are kind of introvert. This is exceptional that the major planets are retrograde at the same time. It also increases the length these planets stay in the the same signs, increasing the influence of the sign. Hereafter we begin thinking about our visions, our goals. On Nov 12 Jupiter meets Pluto the last time, here we have a kind of conclusion.

Saturn goes into Aquarius again Dec 17 and optimism blooms in the freedom-loving Aquarius, shortly followed by a conjunction with Jupiter Dec 21, starting a new cycle with Jupiter.

Jupiter sextile Neptune in Pisces

Parallel with this, Jupiter has a series of rendezvous’ with Neptune, starting Feb 20 in Pisces. This is about visions and maybe dissolving our beliefs to open up for something new. The next meeting between Jupiter and Neptune is July 27, now we begin working with new ideas, and on Oct 12 we may reach a kind of conclusion, know what we ant to put into reality.

Mars influencing our activity

Mars is pushing us under the process from various star signs, ending in Aries where it stay for a longer period as the result of a retrograde. Mars in Aries means action, passionately starting something new.

Earlier experiences

Saturn was conjunct Pluto in Cancer in 1914 – 15 at the beginning of the First World War. Here we first met AIDS. Saturn was conjunct Pluto in Leo in 1948-49 when Mao Zedong’s communist party defeated the Chinese Nationalists and took control of China.

Saturn and Pluto last aligned in 1982 in the sign of Libra. Here AIDS became known and we had the depression with the US Savings and Loan Crisis. Falklands Island War and the Lebanon War. A book by Dean Kontz from 81 where he kind of predicted a virus from Wuhan, shows what energies that are connected with Saturn and Pluto relation.

The Dancing Stars of Capricorn

There are three main planets that define the living cycle of the year, the curriculum we go through, and that is Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. The scenes are the signs that give the background for the movements of the planets, and here is Capricorn the main scene, where one of the major players is at home, Saturn, the Father and Jupiter, the Son, makes their magic.

Pluto works in the primary scene of Capricorn, Uranus in the secondary scene of Taurus and Neptune in Pisces, but all three have heavy historical significance. Following Willy Sucher the winners of the “War in Heaven” set their footprint in Capricorn.

Fearlessness and the Corona Crisis

Astrology don’t really look for the spiritual powers of the planets, they have created a mathematical framework and given the planets a number of characteristics, and some have connected them with archetypal descriptions, like Saturn is the father. The esoteric traditions connects the planets with hierarchies and elemental beings, but they seldom put it into direct words. What does the planets really stand for, what is the powers behind them?

The Trinity, the Three Logoi, their sizes expressing their respective powers.

The trinity is defined by

1. Saturn is connected to the mineral, to the old Saturn development and to the Father. So Saturn is the Father’s hand into the physical world.
2. Jupiter is the benevolent god, connected to the etheric, to the old Sun and to the Son, the Logos, and is the greatest power in our solar system.
3. Mars is the young and very speedy god Hermes or the Holy Spirit acting into the astral world, and connected to the old Moon development.

Saturn is also known as Brahma, Jupiter as Vishnu and Mars as Shiva. _{Incarnations of Earth}.

The stars are rather remarkable this year, it’s all under the supervision of Pluto, the big reformer. Pluto is the inaugurator in the sign of Capricorn, giving purpose to the Trinity of Saturn, Jupiter and Mars and Saturn/Father and Jupiter/Son is circling within orb around Pluto a large part of 2020:

At the first conjunction between Pluto and Jupiter the trinity Saturn, Jupiter and Mars is standing together preparing the work.

Retrograde Planets – Below the Surface

Most planets goes retrograde within the same time period this year and it means inner development, that things go slowly, much happen below the surface. Retrograde means that the planets seems to move backwards, they stay longer in the same area of the zodiac. So the themes this year are prolonged, the time used to handle the problems in depth are at hand.

The setup for this year is a combination of the American revolution, the end of the great depression and the time where the slavery was about to end.

There are especially three planets who have a profound influence on the long term development, Pluto, Neptune and Uranus. Pluto goes retrograde in Capricorn and the last time Pluto was in Capricorn was at the American revolution. The States are born with Pluto in 27° Capricorn, and in two years this cycle is at its end, the old is dissolving and something new is about to start. Neptune goes retrograde in Pisces, and the last time Neptune was in Pisces was the time when the movement to end slavery took speed. Uranus goes retrograde in Taurus and the last time Uranus was in Taurus was at the end of the great depression.

Today everybody is a slave of the thoughts their culture has introduced them too, a materialism we think is inevitable, that the world has to look as it does. To get out of it we need to go through a depression-like condition before we wake from our conditioned life.

The virus was put in motion by Saturn (Father) meeting the inaugurator Pluto, causing the Coronavirus. It started in December but was at it’s strongest Jan 12 and its powers continue for years. Saturn goes into the free airy Aquarius Mar 21 to go retrograde May 11 in Aquarius. In Aquarius, there is a wish for freedom, and everything isn’t as heavy, but Saturn returns to the heavy Capricorn again July 1, and now things become serious.

The Jupiter (Son) is controlling our inner experience helped by Mars. Jupiter has a rendezvous with Pluto that is strongest Apr 12, but we have been under increasing influence before that, but here it becomes serious. They meet again Jun 30, and until then we are acclimatizing ourselves to the new state. At that time Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all retrograde, meaning that we are kind of introvert. This is exceptional that the major planets are retrograde at the same time. It also increases the length these planets stay in the the same signs, increasing the influence of the sign. Hereafter we begin thinking about our visions, our goals. On Nov 12 Jupiter meets Pluto the last time, here we have a kind of conclusion.

Saturn goes into Aquarius again Dec 17 and optimism blooms in the freedom-loving Aquarius, shortly followed by a conjunction with Jupiter Dec 21, starting a new cycle with Jupiter.

Parallel with this, Jupiter has a series of rendezvous’ with Neptune, starting Feb 20 in Pisces. This is about visions and maybe dissolving our beliefs to open up for something new. The next meeting between Jupiter and Neptune is Jul 27, now we begin working with new ideas, and on Oct 12 we may reach a kind of conclusion, know what we ant to put into reality.

Mars is pushing us under the process from various star signs, ending in Aries where it stay for a longer period as the result of a retrograde. Mars in Aries means action, passionately starting something new.

Saturn was conjunct Pluto in Cancer in 1914 – 15 at the beginning of the First World War. Here we first met AIDS. Saturn was conjunct Pluto in Leo in 1948-49 when Mao Zedong’s communist party defeated the Chinese Nationalists and took control of China.

Saturn and Pluto last aligned in 1982 in the sign of Libra. Here AIDS became known and we had the depression with the US Savings and Loan Crisis. Falklands Island War and the Lebanon War. A book by Dean Kontz from 81 where he kind of predicted a virus from Wuhan, shows what energies that are connected with Saturn and Pluto relation.

The End of Kali Yuga, the Return of Christ and the Discovery of Pluto

There was a previous incident with these three planets, Saturn in opposition to Jupiter and Pluto, in 1930/31. This was the time of the discovery of Pluto, bringing it into our consciousness for the first time. This was at the end of Kali Yuga and the return of Christ, where the Christ powers slowly began to permeate the earth, to take power when the new yuga starts, now. Pluto can be seen as the great inaugurator. And it was at the time of the great recession and the rise of Nazism, a typically result of the opposition. _{Steiner on the Reappearence of Christ.}

Pluto as a higher octave of the Son, was conjunct the lower octave of the Son, Jupiter, but in opposition to Saturn, the Father. It was a hard birth into the physical world, it was resisting the Son, and Nazism and Communism WWII was the expression of this resistance.

At the beginning of the Thousand Years Kingdom

There are hints about the New Humanity in the New Testament and specially in Revelation. The Evangelist John, two thousand years ago, saw the woman pregnant with this great idea, the New Humanity, and fixed the number of the chosen ones, the bearers of this idea at 144 000 persons. If you add these numbers 1+4+4 = 9, the number 9 signifies an evolution of men who have all the positive, noble qualities.

Some would say that these l44 000 persons are in heaven. No, they are now here, on earth; they are incarnated among the intelligent people. Some of them are writers; others, poets or men of science; and all of them push humanity forward on the path toward the new idea, toward the Divine.

Saturn Conjunct Pluto January 12, 2020 in 23° Capricorn

Saturn is the Father energies, and with the inspiration from Pluto, there comes large changes in the physical world. This is about rebirth, about courage and love. We are here to create a new future for us and the future generations. The conjunction between Saturn and Pluto have earlier meant the collapse of the establishment like government, economy, banking, and big corporations, and mass disease, like the coronavirus. This conjunction will create an enormous energy that will be felt strongly through the whole year, and through new cycles of Saturn and Pluto through the next forty years or so.

The large corporations and companies have large expenditures and without income, they may be very vulnerable and may be difficult to save for the state, although they may try, but hopefully will common sense stop them. If we lock our societies up in the small, our small companies may survive and they may only need smaller amounts of money for survival. A smaller lock up will not help the large corporations in the same degrees as the smaller companies. It’s not possible to see how the economy will be hit, like negative prices for oil.

The karmic energies of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction has initiated the Coronavirus and with the Pluto-Jupiter conjunction the breakdown of the materialistic societies, where people have been sent home to contemplate, to isolate themselves from each other in fear of the Coronavirus.

The Problem

Modern civilization can’t solve its own problems, humanity and the old souls have to decide what their future is, and it is now!

We must be quite clear that many people — in greater and greater numbers — simply cannot come to terms with life. Some admit this to themselves — they are possibly the best. Others do not admit it, and the world-chaos into which we have fallen is due to their actions. All the chaos, the disorder that exists today, is the direct consequence of this inner cleavage, this ignorance of the extent to which the moral world has reality. Men prefer to blunt their understanding of the great world-problems since they are unwilling to force themselves to admit where the cleavage actually lies. They prefer to ignore it. Coronavirus

The Coronavirus is the joker in the game, it’s a game changer. Virus are not alive, neither is it dead material. It’s in a state in the middle between the physical and the plant, the etheric. Outside a cell it’s potential life, inside a cell it becomes living as result of the life in the cell. When people become deadly sick by this virus the physical body and etheric body is loosened from each other, we are not bound to the physical world as much, we become less materialistic, we hear the inspirations from the spiritual world much better.

The virus can be very aggressive, and for those who survive it’s aggressive form, the etheric body and physical body have been loosened as if by a scalpel. Sickness, accidents or strong shock may separate the physical and etheric body, and this makes us less materialistic, we are also less prone creating new karma, and we are more open to inspirations from the spiritual.

Rudolf Steiner has described how Goethe was sick and how it changed his connection to the spiritual world.

”With Goethe, this force of soul became even stronger, and yet he lived to an advanced age. What enabled him to live so long? You will recall that I reminded you yesterday of a fact that intervened significantly in Goethe’s life..

After he had spent some years in Leipzig as a student, he became seriously ill and stood face to face with death. He virtually looked death in the face. This illness is, to be sure, a natural phenomenon in the organism. However, we never learn to understand a man who creates out of the elemental forces of the world — indeed, we never learn really to understand any man — unless we take into consideration such events in the course of his karma.

What really happened to Goethe when he became ill in Leipzig? We may describe it as a complete loosening of the etheric body in which the life forces of the soul had been active until then.

It was loosened to such an extent that, after this illness, he no longer had that closely knit connection between the etheric and the physical bodies that he had formerly possessed.

The etheric body, however, is the supersensible member in us that really makes it possible to form concepts, to think.

Abstract concepts such as we have in ordinary life, the only concepts that are approved by most persons who are materialistically disposed, come about through the fact that the etheric body is, as it were, closely united with the physical by a strong magnetic union.

It is also through this fact that we possess a strong impulse to project our will into the physical world, that is, provided the astral body is strongly developed. In the case of Robespierre, Mirabeau and Danton, we have an etheric body strongly united with the physical but also a powerfully developed astral body.

This works, in turn, upon the etheric body, which establishes these human individualities strongly in the physical world.

Goethe was also organized like this, but another force now worked in him and brought about a complication. The result was that the etheric body was loosened and remained so through the illness that had brought him to the point of death.

When the etheric body is no longer so intimately united with the physical body, however, it no longer thrusts its forces into the physical but retains them. This explains the transformation Goethe passed through when he returned to Frankfurt.

There, during his acquaintance with Fräulein von Klettenberg, the mystic, and with various medical friends who were devoted to studies in alchemy, and through the writings of Swedenborg, he really developed a systematic spiritual world conception.

It was still somewhat chaotic, but nevertheless a systematic spiritual world conception, and he was profoundly inclined to occupy himself with supersensible things.

Here we see how a natural event seems to enter with immense significance into the life of a human being.

Undoubtedly, it points to a deeper interrelationship than the one the biographers generally wish to reveal. The significance of an illness to a man cannot be explained on the basis of hereditary tendencies but rather points to the connection between a man and the world in such a way that this relationship must be conceived spiritually. You will note also how Goethe’s life was thus complicated; such experiences determine how we take things in and what we are ourselves.”

Steiner describes it also as the Baptism with Water:

What was the purpose of the baptism with water in Jordan? It was intended that through the loosening of their etheric bodies and the experiences they underwent the candidates for baptism should feel themselves transposed into the condition of consciousness of the time before the “Fall”. … He had to return to his original state of innocence, to cleanse his soul of the evil which this aberration had brought.

Jordan Peterson, who have a strong presence in the physical world, have been near death recently, and it seems his heart have opened up. I have two friends who have gone or are going through the sickness, and there is for the one a stronger personal presence and for the other a deeper clairvoyance than before the sickness. A journalist who after the sickness wasn’t satisfied with his previous job, may also be an indication of an awakening, that their connection to the material world has lessened.

Most old souls I know have gone through a sickness, an accident or a shock, that have loosened the etheric and the physical body from each other, and they have a kind of innocence without being naive as they have tried it all through their many lives. Steiner describes the epidemics of bacillas as the result of a won battle by the higher powers over the Ahrimanic beings who were thrown down on earth (Battle between Michael and Ahriman.)

Is the Coronavirus then the result of the returned Christ winning over the Asuras?

Mars conjunct Jupiter March 20, 2020, in 23° Capricorn

Mars is the messenger of God. This conjunction connects to the previous conjunction between Saturn and Pluto, here we think of war against the Coronavirus. When it moves into Aquarius freedom becomes the central topic.

Pluto-Jupiter Conjunctions

Jupiter and Pluto will invite a deepening of growth, digging into the roots of circumstance to discover what truly matters and brings cultural change. Pluto, as we’re seeing with the Coronavirus, can bring death, transformation, and rebirth. Jupiter, the Son, is all about expansion, so whatever Pluto is doing it can make gargantuan! Jupiter will expand the energies of Pluto and amplify what it is we need to transform. This is also a time where we are likely to see news around economy and banking. This Jupiter-Pluto Triple Conjunction, starting with Pluto conjunct Saturn and ending with Jupiter conjunct Saturn is extremely strong. The conjunction came into orb on January 29, 2020, and will remain in orb through January 7, 2021, this will be the stage for the conjunction.

The first conjunction puts us in a problematic situation, the second conjunction comes when we have worked with the problem and better understood what it’s all about, and the third solution comes when we have decided what to do, or not to do.

It’s an old well known problem, Materialism, and materialism alienates people from each other, through centralization it has put people into boxes and cut their lines to neighbors, friends and family. Pluto conjunct Saturn created the Coronavirus, but it is not the real problem, the problem is how we handle it.

1. Pluto – Jupiter Conjunction, April 4, 2020, in 24° Capricorn

Materialism gives up, hides behind the barricades, and let the society die a slow death. Twenty years ago materialism had fought the virus without closing the society down, production and consumerism wouldn’t have been stopped, but materialism today is weak, have no energy to fight.

This is really about fear of life! In many books about a dystopian future people live isolated. This is what is happening now, we are taught to live with distance to each other, in each our small box, because of fear for a sickness that really isn’t much worse than the flu we already have, except it’s quicker to infect.

And we are supposed to hide a year at least to a vaccine is found! Are we going to hide behind the barricades?

At the same time we are given a period to contemplate, where all of earth are contemplating at the same time, giving the old souls, who are ready, the possibility to go through the illumination, the initiation.

Pluto goes retrograde on April 24th to October 4th, 2020 and Saturn goes retrograde May 11th to September 29th, 2020.

2. Pluto-rx – Jupiter-rx Conjunction, June 30th, 2020

Are we going to hide behind the barricades? Have we begun to understand whats we should do?

On this day, retrograde Jupiter is conjunct retrograde Pluto, stirring themes from March 2020. Whatever themes happened in March may present again in some way in order for us to learn more information or to work through more of the lessons. We will gain new insights and knowledge, to be prepared to handle world karma.

3. Jupiter – Pluto Conjunction, Nov 12, 2020

On this day, Jupiter and Pluto conjunct again for the last time. This energy is extremely rare and will help to bring a closure to events that happened in March and June of 2020. Pluto and Jupiter working together may also leave gifts of abundance and help us to claim back our power in some way. They may also change the way we view abundance and money as well. This is kind of the Synthesis of the previous two conjunctions.

Saturn-Jupiter Conjunction in Aquarius, Dec 21, 2020

The Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius is the rebuilding of what couldn’t stand through the year. When Jupiter and Saturn come together there is both the intensity of old forms dying as well as the fertility of new growth beginning to take shape, now formed in the air sign Aquarius energies of freedom.

Saturn and Jupiters conjunctions in earth, like 1961, characterised by a sense of limitless expansion and development, manifesting as the material prosperity of the post-war era, and in 1981, a new conjunction accelerated with growth of new technologies and corporate power expanding in ways never seen before, with national governments becoming subordinate to the financial interests of powerful corporations, and corporations solidifying their control with digital technologies. The opposition between Saturn and Jupiter in 1989/90 happened at the time of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the fall of the Soviet Union and the Savings and Loan crisis of 1989, which ended in the 1990 recession.

The Art of Asha, an Analysis

“The Art of Asha” are the origin of chess and was introduced by Zarathustra as a kind of teaching aid describing the spiritual powers or hierarchies behind the physical world. Professor Edmond Bordeaux Székely have described the The Art of Asha in “The Essene Book of Asha“.

Today most knowledge of Ashas spiritual background have been lost, only names, a few comments about each piece and the movement rules are known, as they are the same as for chess today.

It has irritated me for some time that nothing more was known, it sounded interesting. As all religions and esoteric traditions are different facets of the same reality, it should be possible to find the meaning behind the Art of Asha.

In a contemplation a week ago I found the key, and I quickly found the relation to Kabbalah, and one key is that man is an inverted plant, what both Hinduism, Kabbalah and Rudolf Steiner states.

Here the positions and the names of the forces of Ahura Mazda and Ahriman, the white and dark powers:

As all religious and spiritual traditions describe the same reality it should be possible to find it’s relation to other more known systems, like Kaballah.

And it was not so difficult to find the right positions when I had placed the King/Creator/Man at the bottom of the tree, and Eternal Life just above in the Angels sephira, the puzzle pieces found their places naturally.

I placed the Queen/Preserver at the top, but it was wrong in many ways, so she moved into the center, that expressed her strength much better, just as the weakness of the king was clear through his position outside the ring.

Looking at the meaning of the Asha pieces and the corresponding Sephira they seem to match beautifully.

The symmetry of the pieces is also perfect, so I think it’s a very good theory of the relation.

I have not unraveled how it should be used, there are possibilities for some experimenting, like following the play of two persons around some topic, seeing how it develops, how it ends.

Creation of the Sun System and the Zodiac

The World Egg is the most universal symbol we have, and the Zodiac is the most developed form of it, but we find it  everywhere in all cultures, we just don’t recognize it as representing the world egg.

We can find the history of the zodiac in the four heavenly beasts, Eagle, Lion, Ox and Man; they were the first members of the Zodiac, first later came the Cardinal signs, and later again the mutable, they came when man began developing these qualities, just as the outher planets first became visible when they became influential.

Amma created the egg, what became our sun system, not the whole universe. Within his egg, Amma began spinning around, forming the po seed. The po is the smallest invisible seed at the center.

Amma then placed seven ‘words’ [Planets] in the po, which began to vibrate strongly within the seed. The spiraling vibrations caused four clavicles to grow forth from the po.

These were the four heavenly beasts, the fixed star signs. These four powers were the main factors in developing the sentient soul, Eros of Plato, or Tamas of Hinduism.

These four Androgyne beings split into four male and four female, so we now had the cardinal and fixed star signs. The cardinal powers were necessary for developing the intellectual soul, or Logos of Plato, or Rajas of Hinduism.

The Dogon call these beings the Nommo Anagonno, ‘The Word (Nommo) that Became Fish-Man’ (Anagonno). The male and females got a son, and the mutable star signs was created. The mutable signs were necessary for developing the conscious soul, Thumos of Plato, or Sattva of Hinduism.

The Nommo entered the world through the place on the sky where Sirius is placed. They were the teachers of mankind, the Angels. They are also associated with the moon.

This Zodiac are fields going from the circumference around the sun system into the system, not just radiation, and not from the large universe, this is called the Tropical Zodiac.

The Egg, the Zodiac are spiraling through the universe so it’s changing position in relation to the stars, but the fields are constant in relation to the Sun system, to the vernal equinox:

We are not a copy of the whole universe, we are a copy of our own sun system, not including far sun systems.

Lucifer gives visions. One has to break through them, otherwise one doesn’t break through the shell that’s around every man and covers the real spiritual world. Visions and voices are around us like the shell around a chick. One might see an angel in a vision and when one presses through the vision the angel will change into a snake, Lucifer’s symbol, for at the Temptation he appeared as a snake. Or one might see the colour blue in one’s meditation — if one breaks through it the blue can become red, and then it turns out that we saw our own passions. As a result of his temptation by Lucifer man doesn’t have everything that the Gods have; he received knowledge, but not life. Thereby everything that we know and perceive is permeated by Lucifer and Ahriman. … An ordinary man is like the chick that would consider its shell to be the real world. If the chick could see, it would see the egg’s contents as if it were the whole world. Likewise we see our eggshell or aura spread out around us as the blue dome of the heavens. If we break through our shell the sun and moon become darkened, the stars fall down onto the earth and the spiritual world spreads out in its place.

A man lives in his eggshell — his aura. The Elohim gave us our aura, and through the fall into sin it has become like a shell around us, and we’re in it like a chick in an egg. The stars in the heavens are our boundary and we must break through it with our soul force, just as a chick must break out of its shell through its own power. Then we get into a new world, just as a chick has a new world before it when it has crept out of the egg. And since men all have the same eggshell around them an astronomy could arise that lets the heavenly bodies move along the celestial dome. The egg shell is the Ex Deo nascimur. To break through it and to bring something with us into the spiritual world we must bring what penetrates the shell from the outer spiritual world and that’s common to all; and that’s the Christ. Mithras

Wael Al-Mahdi have made an analysis of the fight between Mittras and the bull, which have it’s like in the Gilgamesh epic. Today we have our mental focus in the Ego, the Intellectual soul or left brain hemisphere, but then our mental focus was in what we today call our subconsciousness, the Sentient soul or Limbic brain. This fight describes the change of focus from the sentient soul to our current ego, but it’s an ongoing fight between our ego and the subconsciousness, or rather it’s a fight between our superconsciousness and subconscioussness and the battleground is the ego. Wael Al-Mahdi writes that Mithras is the devine ego, but I see him as the ego, the lower I, where I see his father, the mighty Sol Invictus, as the higher I.

Let us now take a look at the symbolism of the Mithraic mysteries and try to make some sense of them. Mithras himself, in the manner of all epoch-making developments of the unconscious, appears suddenly and unexpectedly, from a rock. Here Mithras takes on the role of the divine ego – the ego of the average man transfigured and lifted up by energy from the unconscious harnessed through myth and ritual. In this Mithras is strong, solid, rocklike. The divine ego and the everyday ego (the one that worries about food, shelter, money etc) are not identical; the divine ego, despite its disctinctness but in keeping with unconscious manifestations, is foreign, in this instance, of exotic Persian origin. To symbolize freedom from the unconscious as enemy, and also the actual emancipation of freedman Mithraists, Mithras dons a Phrygian cap, the so-called liberty cap. With the rise of Mithras, miracles are performed, as he strikes a solid rock with the thunder of consciousness and live-giving water spouts from the rock. Here the dead and inanimate can produce life, just as a psychological impasse can give rise to a new lease on life; the Qur’an states of God, “He brings the living out of the dead, and the dead of the living.”

The central and most striking image of Mithraism is the tauroctony – the slaying of the bull. This supreme act of defiance, even hybris, is depicted on subterranean murals in Mithraea from Britain to Rome to Syria. The bull in his power and animal intransigence is the unconscious as enemy. He is the personification, or rather theriomorphization, of all the alien powers that ailed the forward looking man of action. He is the heaviness of the heart at dawn, he is the tightness of the chest before a dangerous act. He gives rise to the autonomous moods of self-doubt and self-loathing. He is boredom, lack of meaning, existential ennui. He represents every social disappointment, lack of control, failure to follow custom, and most dangerously, lack of adaptation. The evil father, father as a depressant, is in the bull – as is the evil friend, the devil, who both attacks the ego and forces to do evil. Every worthless feeling of the ego is projected onto him – and he is indeed a fitting target of projection. In short, he is the great No to life. He is the enemy within that must be vanquished if the conscious ego is to grow.

In contrast to conciliation myths, in which the ego tries to make peace with the unconscious, here the ego strikes with its readiest weapon – its will. After a long chase and a difficult haul to the womb-cave where a transformation can occur, Mithras’ right hand performs the unspeakable act of stabbing the bull’s neck. The cave serves a dual purpose are both regenerative womb and the unconscious cosmos which parallels the real cosmos. But there is respect in Mithras – out of respect, he pulls the animal back by the nostrils, never by the horn. Mithras’ face is serene, almost sublime – divinely devoid of emotion, Zen in his imperturbability – looking up towards his father, the mighty Sol Invictus, the Invincible Sun, as if saying, “Behold my most brazen act, father. Soon we are to become equals” Mithras is steadfast, unflinching – he takes full responsibility for his act, he never hesitates or backs down. As a result of Mithras’ challenging of the evil-animal father archetype, Father Sun emerges in a more human guise but with his divinity still intact.

In some reliefs the sacred bull bleeds wheat or grapes, symbolizing the paradox of the ability of the unconscious, even at is most evil, to heal after it harms. The killing of the bull is not a real-world death but an unconscious event that breathes life into a new psychological energy and outlook. But Mithras, this self-overcoming hero, is not alone in his daring act. Like all good heroes he has his sidekicks, the torchbearers, Cautes with his torch pointing up and Cautopates with his torch pointing down. They are his awareness of opposites, his ability to make distinctions, to discern opposites, and in their astral aspect symbolize his heavenly outlook. There is his dog too, lapping up the bull’s blood – his discipline, self-control, honed intellect, and the vital ability of self-obedience. On the scene is a serpent of wisdom and shrewdness, also drinking the life giving blood, for no quantum is wasted here. A sneaky scorpion sucks the ‘vim’ out of the bull’s genitals, literally ‘breaking his balls’ – energy that can be better utilized by the conscious hero Mithras. More on the Tropical vs. Sidereal Zodiac(Bruce Scofield):

We all know that this astrological system (Vedic) uses one or another version of the sidereal zodiac, the slight differences between them being measured by what is called the ayanamsha, the gap between the tropical and sidereal zodiac.

The twelve sidereal-based zodiacal signs (rasis) used in this system are not particularly important overall, and they serve more as a background reference plane for planets than as a matrix for personality distinctions.

The houses are important, however, but house boundaries between planets will remain roughly constant in a timed birth chart no matter which zodiac is employed. After reading a number of texts on the subject it became apparent to me that Hindu astrology was a tradition that was not concerned with extracting psychological insights from birth charts, it was more event-oriented.

In my opinion, Rudhyar remains the most important astrologer of the 20th century. He had something intelligent to say on just about every issue in astrology, including the sidereal-tropical problem.

Rudhyar wrote that the sidereal zodiac, the zodiac of constellations, was a product of the myth-making faculty of the human psyche. These constellations, groupings of stars, are a remnant of an earlier age that saw the rise of agriculture, but they are not relevant to modern life.

He felt it was unfortunate that both zodiacs use the same names for their 12-fold division of the yearly circle, and he regarded the tropical zodiac as being the proper framework on which to assess the evolution of mankind.

The star signs are purely symbolic, giving name to the star signs because they were at the particular part of the zodiac when the twelve 30° degrees parts of the ecliptic was named.

The stars in the signs are nowhere near each other, they may even not exist anymore, they are placed long from each other in the far past of the universe.

History of Tropical Zodiac

The classical zodiac was introduced in the neo-Babylonian period (ca. 7th to 6th century BC). At the time, the precession of the equinoxes had not been discovered. Classical Hellenistic astrology consequently developed without consideration of the effects of precession.

The discovery of the precession of the equinoxes is attributed to Hipparchus, a Greek astronomer active in the later Hellenistic period (ca. 130 BCE).

Ptolemy, writing some 250 years after Hipparchus, was thus aware of the effects of precession. He opted for a definition of the zodiac based on the point of vernal equinox, i.e. the tropical system.

While Ptolemy noted that Ophiuchus is in contact with the ecliptic, he was aware that the twelve signs were just conventional names for 30 degrees segments (especially since the Aries sign had ceased to be in contact with the Aries constellation already in his time). Wikipedia

Po Tolo (Sirius B) the oldest of stars, it’s name means ‘deep beginning’. The Dogon consider Po Tolo the reservoir and source of all things in this realm, and the germ of creation for our Solar System. It ejected it’s essence out into creation, and the particles of it’s essence was ‘infinitely small’.

On Spiritual Research – Practical Guidelines

To understand and validate the esoteric knowledge there are other ways than clairvoyant faculties, and in the following I will list the things that I and others have found useful, with links to related texts.

Framework and Theories

• The primary thing is to build a consistent framework around ones knowledge, extending it when new knowledge comes to. Don’t make the structure bigger than you can hold it consistent, that is, if too many loose ends are floating around it’s too difficult to handle. I started with the Akasha Chronicles by Steiner, which is the Rosicrucian Cosmic History. More in Esoteric History of Man and Creation of the Sun System and the Zodiac
• If I didn’t have a theory, even if it was wrong, I couldn’t extend my knowledge. In research you will constantly be wrong on some points, but you will extend the area you are right all the time.
• Find a good consistent vocabulary to build the framework around. I use Steiner’s as no other esoteric language is as consistent and connected to our time. In the The Rosicrucian Cross I have relations between Kabbalah, esoteric and traditional names of the hierarchies/spiritual powers and in The Bodies of Man I have relations between the names of the layers of man in many spiritual traditions.
• Find a good structure to hang your knowledge on. I use the Kabbalah Tree of Life as no other structure is so clear, and every other major religion or spiritual tradition relates to the tree! More on the tree and it’s relations to other traditions here: The Rosicrucian Cross, Tao – The Equilibrium of Yin and Yang and Changing Hierarchies through Time.
• Follow your own inspiration, don’t let anyone put your thinking behind bars, let your results logic speak for you. There are people who have no scientific understanding who try to limit the thinking of others for pseudo religious reasons, meaning they can’t give a logical explanation for their view.
• Remember Sherlock Holmes: When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

• Never rely on one source. Whatever you find it should be consistent with other sources and/or it’s inherent logic should be impeccable. Findings without supporting evidence or inconsistencies should be saved until further evidence for or against is found. As a teenager I was somewhat fascinated with UFOs but then decided to have no meaning about them as it lacked both hard evidence, logical support, and relevance for my life.
• When you read a text and feels confused it may not be your problem, not all authors know what they write about. A person who don’t know his topic have a tendency to write large texts where the one who understand it fully only need few lines.
• Everything are usable as sources: science, religion, esoteric literature, fairy tales, films, your every day life, observance of your own thinking, dreams, and so forth.
• Use Retrospect Inquiry before sleep to find and think through the important events of the day, our mind is the best crucible we have to learn how the mind functions. One way is to think it through backwards, but after a time they pop up by themselves. In  The Bodies of Man I have a comparison between the three soul components of man in various religious, esoteric and psychoanalytic systems. In steiners vocabulary they are Sentient soul, Intellectual soul, and Conscious soul and in physical they are known as Limbic brain, left brain hemisphere and right brain hemisphere, where the last is the least developed.
• Use your dreams to explore both your own consciousness but also other aspects of the physical and spiritual world. I have more on this in Dream Interpretation in Esoteric Work and Esoteric Aspects of the Isis figure
• If you find a seemingly inconsistency or lack of explanations, note it for future study, a puzzle piece that may be of future use.
• Another possibility to collect spiritual knowledge without spiritual faculties are Astrology, which both have helped me get a clearer knowledge about myself, but also given me the astrologers clear and precise language, which no other psychological or spiritual tradition have. This opens for understanding of different kinds of esoteric literature which is indecipherable for non astrologers. An example in The Sons of Jacob and the Zodiac
• All this relates back to spiritual knowledge, the Framework, otherwise it would be atomic knowledge without a unifying framework.

Areas of Research

• Understanding the physical laws of the universe, from the biggest to the smallest, “The Second Law of Thermodynamics”, This is Ahriman/Yin, Lucifer/Yang, and Christ/Tao in their most physical representation. Chaos or Order? No, Life!
• Understanding consciousness, starting with your own thinking. Is it possible to make Intelligent Machines?
• Understanding the laws behind the society of man. The Trap of Materialism
• Understanding the spiritual laws behind the physical life on Earth, the interaction between the physical and the spiritual, Ahriman and Lucifer, or Yin and Yang. Serpents of the Kundalini Fire and The Crucible
• Beware of conspiracy theories.  Hanlon’s Razor 

Love of Truth

The search for truth is foremost in esoteric science, not that there is a TRUTH, but everybody should strive to find truth. Truth is not relative, nor is it political, and neither can it build on feelings alone. Truth is like a diamond, each human soul have it’s own facet of this diamond describing it’s view on the reality.

To find truth we need logic to find the way through the cacophony of information. Logic is valid on all planes, not only in the physical world, so it’s a vital tool wherever our search brings us:

Life itself will force people to learn logic, each time we make an error and recognize it, we are forced to think and understand the Why behind, and with time and enough incarnations we begin to see the logic behind existence.

Contemplative Inquiry

One way to think is Contemplative Inquiry, where the person sits with vertical back and open eyes and fully conscious, but letting the thoughts free on esoteric ideas, and in this way invite the higher I down into the thinking process. Thoughts on the physical world or closed eyes moves the focus to the physical noise, the background noise of the sentient soul.

Variations around the Trinities

In all religions and esoteric traditions we have the three creative powers of the Trinity more or less hidden. These three powers are also known through their colors, with Red for the Father, Blue for the Mother, and typically Yellow for the Son, symbolizing all colors. This is the main theme of this blog, and the most central texts are:

The World Egg and the Zodiac

The World Egg is the most universal symbol we have, and the Zodiac is the most developed form of it, but it’s everywhere, we just don’t recognize it as representing the world egg.

We can find the history of the zodiac in the four heavenly beasts, Eagle, Lion, Ox and Man; they were the first members of the Zodiac, first later came the Cardinal signs, and later again the mutable, they came when man began developing these qualities, just as the outer planets first became visible when they became influential. In the bible we find it in The Sons of Jacob and the Zodiac.

I have made “Creation of the Sun System and the Zodiac” for an illustrated overview of what was created, with the following extract as basis:

“The egg of Amma was closed, but made of four parts called ‘clavicules,’ themselves ovoid and joined as if they had extruded one from the others. Amma is four joined clavicules; it is only these four clavicles.” (Marcel Griaule & Germaine Dieterlen, Le renard pâle)

The sun system is ‘Amma’s Egg’ [the Zodiac], not the whole universe. Within his egg, Amma began spinning around, forming the po seed. The po is the smallest invisible seed at the center.

Amma then placed seven ‘words’ [Planets] in the po, which began to vibrate strongly within the seed. The spiraling vibrations caused four clavicles to grow forth from the po. These were the four heavenly beasts, the fixed star signs. These four Androgyne beings split into four male and four female, the cardinal and fixed star signs.

The Dogon call these beings the Nommo Anagonno, ‘The Word (Nommo) that Became Fish-Man’ (Anagonno). The male and female got a son, and the mutable star signs was created.

There are two levels of understanding, the macrocosmic, as mentioned above, but also the microcosmic:
“Hence, the eight ancestors were taken to heaven with the Nummo to learn the skills of civilisation. Later, each was given one of the eight grains of heaven, with which they returned to live with men, civilising them. They thus became the “civilising deities”, the Dogon equivalent of the Apkallu, or Seven Sages.” See The Old Granary.

This description of the Earth creation is only part of another greater history, the creation of man, which started long before Earth. In Esoteric History of Man I give a short overview of the path man has followed since the initial seed of man was created.

Nidanas and the Zodiac

I have looked at the Nidanas in relation to the Zodiac. The twelve Nidanas are the karmic powers keeping man reincarnating on the Earth. The twelve Nidanas consists of three groups, the first group of four is the Cardinal signs, the next group are the Mutable and the last group are the Fixed star signs. Lucifer – Shiva and Krishna

The Earth evolution started within the existing universe, with center in the sun, and on the planet Earth was constructed a crucible where the seed to the new universe was constructed.

Shiva, the Luciferic powers, were the creators of the old universe; together with Brahma and Vishnu they were the old universe. See also The Origin of Lucifer – Shiva.

In the crucible the new began to take form, Krishna, the transformed Lucifer, became stronger and stronger and the old Lucifer, Shiva became smaller and smaller, through the development of man. See Krishna as Teacher of Love

When the new universe was developed far enough, the transformed gods died in the old universe, and they resurrected/incarnated into the new universe, from being outside the physical body of man, they became soul and spirit in man, what we see outside is the dead body of the gods, the new universe is inside man.  See Krishna and the Holy Spirit

Francis Bacon and the American Project

What happens in the world have always been prepared from the spiritual world through highly developed people. In the time before Christ it was kings and priests who led the development, after Christ it was more incognito, but they were great personalities within all aspects of the society ingeniously infusing new ideas and changing the power structures from country to country op through Europe as the point of focus changed.

The American adventure wasn’t just a random thing, it was prepared through hundreds of years, but now the ideas behind have worn down, something new is needed.

Pythagoras et al

Much of modern esoteric knowledge goes back to Pythagoras, but what we know about his teachings are mostly through indirect sources.

One of the most interesting topics, but least understood, is the Golden Mean which Plato said was the key to the universe: “Golden Mean, Key to the Universe?“.

I have written a note on “Origin of the usage of Left Path and Right Path“, as it has been misused in various discussions, but it goes at least back to Pythagoras.

Chakana – The Incan Cross

Chakana, the Incan Cross, are equivalent to the Yin-Yang symbol and the Zodiac. Through a central axis a shaman journeyed in trance to the lower plane or Underworld and the higher levels inhabited by the superior gods. The snake, puma, and condor are totemic representatives of the three levels. (Axis Mundi)

The stepped cross is made up of an equal-armed cross indicating the cardinal points of the compass and a superimposed square.

The square represents the other two levels of existence. The three levels of existence are Hana Pacha (the upper world inhabited by the superior gods), Kay Pacha, (the world of our everyday existence) and Ucu or Urin Pacha (the underworld inhabited by spirits of the dead, the ancestors, their overlords and various deities having close contact to the Earth plane). The hole through the center of the cross is the Axis by means of which the shaman transits the cosmic vault to the other levels.

The cross has 12 points and legend has it that these points represent the following sayings, affirmations and life points: I live, I work, I love, The underworld, The current world, The upper world, The cougar, The Eagle, The snake, Don’t Lie, Don’t Cheat, Don’t Steal.

The four flat sides represent the elements Water Air Earth Fire

North is air, south is water, east is fire and west is earth. The top arm is held in the East with the fire. The centre is the 5th element, the force of love emanating from the void.

The three rectangles could represent the physical world, the ether world, and the astral world, with each side representing one of the four elements in each world.

The three worlds are known all over the world:

• with Uku Pacha as the lower Chthonic underworld, with the snake as symbol, the Fixed modality of astrology, Tamas of the Gunas,
• the middle world, Kay Pacha, in which we live, have the puma as symbol, the Mutable modality of astrology, Sattva of the Gunas,
• and the higher world Hanan Pacha with the condor as symbol, the Cardinal modality of astrology, Rajas of the Gunas.

These three animals Snake, Puma and Condor are equivalent to Ox, Lion and Eagle as we know from the European and Asian continent.

The top section is the Hanag Pacha which is the upper world (super conscious) and the animal symbol for the upper world is the condor. It holds, within the steps, the principles of the tradition. They are Yachay, Llankay and Munay.

Yachay means knowledge in its basic expression, but its higher expression is wisdom. It is knowledge, which has been integrated through experience and is externalized as wisdom. We must live what we know and master it in our daily lives. Llankay (pronounced ylang kai) Llankay relates to work, labour and productivity. It is to work in an honest way and to be honest in your work. It is to work for the betterment and greater good of yourself and your family, your community and humanity (your greater family). Munay is a word that simply means love and is the principle present in all others. It is not simply the love between a man and a woman, a mother and a child, although these interactions can contain the infinite expressions of Munay. It is the expression of unconditional love. It contains a deep- seated compassion for all livings things and their suffering.

Chthonian Demons
Various beings mentioned in mythologies come under this heading, such as the Greek harpies and Erinyes, the Hindu Rakshasas, the Arabic djinns, the Germanic elves and Valkyries, etc.

Chthonian Snake Goddess

In Aztec mythology, Cihuacoatl  (”snake woman”; also Cihuacóatl, Chihucoatl, Ciucoatl) was a motherhood and fertility goddess, haunting crossroads at night to take children. She also helped Quetzalcoatl create humanity by grinding the bones of our ancestors and mixing the result with Quetzalcoatl’s blood to form the clay from which humanity were molded. Here the soul (Quetzalcoatl’s blood) is born into the physical (the bones), giving the body of man (the clay) with the Ego.

Cihuacoatl – Snake Woman

The Naga Kanya (Cobra Women) are a race of fairy-like demigods born of the Nāga, which are water deities. They have the form of beautiful maidens, but usually maidens only from the waist up, while from the waist down they are serpents.

“Nure-onna is typically seen at the water’s edge, washing her long, flowing hair. In some stories, she carries a small child, which she uses to attract potential victims. When a well-intentioned person offers to hold the baby for Nure-onna, the child attached itself to the victim’s hands and grows heavy, making it nearly impossible to flee. In some stories, Nure-onna uses her long, powerful tongue to suck all the blood from her victim’s body.”

In Ancient Myth Steiner writes about the Greek Mysteries:

The Greeks revered in the Mysteries other Gods as well as the celestial Gods, namely, the Chthonic Gods. And of one who was initiated in the Mysteries one could say with truth: he learns to know the upper and the lower Gods, the Upper and the Lower Gods. The upper Gods were those of the Zeus-circle; but they only have rulership over what is spread out before the senses, and what the intellect can understand. The human being is more than this. Man is rooted with his being in the kingdom of the lower Gods, in the kingdom of the Chthonic Gods.

This Chthonic world consists of twelve elemental groups of beings, which are the real foundation of the visible physical world, and all kinds of magical systems around the Earth try to influence the physical world through these beings. Don Juan talk about the flyers, inorganic beings, in Castanedas books, the Gnostics talk about the Archons, alien predators, the wise Greek healer Daskalos talks bout the Elementals, and Jung talks about the Shadow.

Steiner writes in “The East in the Light of the West” about the cosmogony of Pherecydes:

In most remarkable words, Pherecydes spoke of the holy primordial triad, of Zeus, Kronos and Chthon, principles fundamental to the earth, having come over from pre-terrestrial ages; he also speaks of a further evolution. But in ancient times men did not clothe matters of this kind in such dry, crude concepts as they do today, they drew vivid pictures of what they saw and recognised in spiritual realms. Pherecydes said: ‘Chthon becomes Gea (today called earth), because of the gift of Zeus whereby she came to be covered as with a garment.’ This is a wonderful description of that evolution which I have just outlined in a few short words. The earth was alone; outside it were the sun and the moon, the spiritual kingdoms of Zeus and of Kronos. The sun from without began to work upon the earth and to fructify it in its then chaotic state; or, in the language of the old Greek sage, Zeus fructified Chthon. The beneficent influences of the kingdom of Zeus were sent down to the physical earth in the warmth and light of the sun. This was the gift made by Zeus to the earth. The earth covered herself with the garment of plant and animal forms, and with the forms of physical men. Chthon becomes Gea; therefore, because of the gift of Zeus the earth covers herself with a garment.

In Relation to Astrology

In  “Astrology, Psychology, and The Four Elements” writes Stephen Arroyo  about Zodiacal Signs as Energy Patterns:

The four elements of astrology (fire, earth, air, and water) are the basic building blocks of all material structures and organic wholes. Each element represents a basic kind of energy and consciousness that operates within each of us. Just as modern physics has shown that energy is matter, these four elements interweave and combine to form all matter. When the spark of life leaves a human body at death, the four elements all dissociate and return to their primal state. It is only life itself, manifesting in an organized, living whole, that holds together the four elements. All four are in every person, although each person is consciously more attuned to some types of energy than others. Each of the four elements manifests in three vibrational modalities: cardinal, fixed, and mutable. Hence, when we combine the four elements with the three modalities, we have twelve primary patterns of energy which are called the zodiacal signs.

Rahu and Ketu

From Rahu and Ketu in Hindu Mythology:

“According to mythological tales Rahu is the head of the dragon. Head as we know contain the brain and controls the functioning of the entire body. This suggests that Rahu is the controlling and active node. Ketu rules of the body, sends feelings and sensations to the brain. To analyse those sensations and take action if necessary is within the jurisdiction of Rahu. More precisely Ketu has the power of transforming the events into experience which turn into wisdom.”

The head is the Luciferic and the tail is the Ahrimanic, where Rahu relates to Dharma, and Ketu to Karma.
